Willie Lee "Bubba" Hiter

Willie Lee "Bubba" Hiter age 64 of Clarksville, passed away on Sunday July 8, 2018 at Spring Meadows of Clarksville. He was born January 29, 1954 in Clarksville, the son of the late Willie Ed. Hiter and Glendora Barker Hill of Clarksville. Willie attended Burt High School and had worked as a cook at Kentucky Fried Chicken and Morrison Cafeteria in Indianapolis where he lived for many years. He was baptized at the St. John Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed drawing and was devoted to his family. In addition to his Mother he is survived by brothers and sisters Rev. Gene Horne (Constance) of Indianapolis, Tony Hiter of Clarksville, Patricia S. Hill Garrett of Clarksville, Sheila Ann Hill of Clarksville, Vanessa Hill Smith (Hosea) of Indianapolis, Michele Hill-Bates of Clarksville, and Milton L. Hill of Clarksville. He is also survived by half brothers James Willis Brewer (Margie) of Cleveland, OH, and Edmond Hiter of Indianapolis. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his Father, Willie is preceded in death by sisters Janice Hill, and Glenda Elaine Hiter, and a brother Larenzo L. Hill. Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday July 14, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Chapel of Gateway Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
