William Edward McNeill

William Edward McNeill, age 88 passed away on March 4th, 2016 at his residence in Clarksville. He was born on October 25th, 1927 in Waldo, AR to the late William Edward McNeill, Sr. and Carmen Sybil Fincher McNeill.

He was a member of the Madison Street Methodist Church, and an avid reader. He enjoyed travelling the world, current events, and watching football.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Blackman McNeill of Clarksville; one son, David Edward McNeill (Colleen) of Terre Bonn, OR; three daughters, Elizabeth Ann Mahoney, Karen Elaine and Kelli Dian McNeill, all of Clarksville; four grandchildren, Megan McNeill, Cameron Mahoney, and Zoe and Alex Hornick. He is also survived by one great-grandchild, Daniel Johnston.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 12th at 11:00 a.m. at Gateway Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choosing.
