William O. Gunson

William “Bill” O. Gunson, age 69, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Sunday August 29, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville.  He was born April 18, 1952 in Houston County, TN, the son of the late Albert Woodrow Gunson and Betty Katherine Daniel Gunson of Cumberland City, TN.  Bill is a graduate of W.T. Thomas School in Cumberland City.  Throughout his life he has worked in the auto body repair business and as a truck driver.  In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son and daughter in law Michael & Lila Gunson of Cumberland City; sisters Alice Knight of Chattanooga and Ida Walsh of Maryland; as well as four grandchildren.  In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his brother John Gunson.  He will also be remembered by his many friends.  There will be a celebration of his life at a later date.  Arrangements are under the care of Gateway Funeral Home and Cremation Center  335 Franklin Street  Clarksville, TN.  37040.  Phone 931-919-2600.  Online condolences may be made by going to www.gatewayfh.com.
