Thomas T. Tanner, 80, Clarksville, TN passed away at home on Tuesday, May 2nd 2023 surrounded by his family.

Thomas was born February 14th, 1943 in Tennessee Ridge, TN to the late Romie and Sarah Belle Bass Tanner. He retired from Trane Company after 30 years of service and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his five sisters, one brother and one great grandchild.

Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Frances Waters Tanner; son, Tracey Tanner (Amy); daughter, Carla Tanner; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and three brothers.

Mr. Tanner's request was not to have a public service, but to have a private family memorial at a later date. The Family would like to thank Tennessee Quality Care Hospice, and especially nurses Patti and Carrie for their loving and caring support during his illness.
