Thomas T. Glass

Thomas T. Glass age 83 of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Thursday November 5, 2020 at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville. He was born July 11, 1937 in Marquette, MI. Thomas served his country in the US Air Force for one tour of duty. He worked in law enforcement most of his life. He was with the Los Angeles Police Department for 8 years. He then became the Chief of Police in Gwinn, MI for 20 years. Following his retirement from that position he worked in security in Uniontown, PA for several years, later retiring in Florida. He then moved to Clarksville, where he worked as a reserve deputy with the Montgomery County Sheriff Department until he again retired. He was proud to serve during his career in law enforcement. Thomas was devoted to his family and enjoyed his time with them. He is survived by his wife Evelyn Bailey Glass of Clarksville; sons LeRoy Pelkie of Clarksville; Dana Pelkie of Clarksville; and Michael Pelkie of Clarksville. Also surviving are two daughters Brenda Pelkie Givens (Joel) of Crestview, FL; and Amber Glass of Clarksville. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, LeRoy Pelkie (Brandy); Lindsey Pelkie Gafford (Brian); Duane Phillipe; Michael John Phillipe; Jessica Pelkie; Josh Pelkie, and Ashley Pelkie. as well as seven great grandchildren.
