Thomas Earl Bailey

Thomas E. McClure Bailey, the son of the late Reverend Thelmus E. Bailey and Annie Bell Daniel. Tommy was born on December 3, 1956 in Clarksville, TN. Tommy left this earth at the early age of 65, but he lived life to the fullest. He professed his faith in Christ at an early age at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Toliver Coleman. Tommy attended Montgomery County schools. He proudly served his country in the U.S Army. He was honorably discharged in 1976. Tommy enjoyed singing and many other things, but most of all he loved God and his family.

Left to cherish Tommy’s memories are his step sons, Andra Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Timothy Johnson and Marc Johnson; sisters, Virginia Goodrun, Marilyn Crotzer (Norman), Cheryl Bracy (Samuel) and Ethel Lee Bailey Beard (L.C. Jr); brother, Timothy Bailey; aunt, Hettie Bailey; uncle, Howard Thomas McClure and Michael McClure. Tommy is also survived by a host of step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Along with his parents, Tommy is preceded in death by his wife, Euretha Johnson McClure; sister, Fannie Lee Denton, Darlene McClure; brother, Raymond Lewis McClure; and grandparents, John Thomas McClure and Annie Mae Bell.
