Teresa Burgess

Teresa Annette Burgess age 57 of Clarksville, passed away on Sunday November 22, 2020 at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville. She was born May 8, 1963 in Springfield, TN, the daughter of the late Ervin Williams Sr. and Mildred Williams. Teresa devoted her life to caring for children, working in the day care at First Christian Church, Kiddie College, and at Austin Peay State University. Over the years she had also worked in housekeeping at area hotels. She loved caring for children and was known as a fun, outgoing person. She loved flower gardening and taking care of her home. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Ronald Caldwell of Clarksville. Teresa and Ronald met in 1995 and were married on June 4, 2011. Also surviving is a brother Marshall Williams of Indiana; and a host of Aunts, Nieces and Cousins. She also had several people who she considered her God-children, including Brandy Parker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Michael Williams. Funeral services for Teresa will be conducted on Saturday November 28, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Gateway Funeral Home with Rev. Theta Miller of First Christian Church officiating.
