Teresa Lynn Austin age 48 of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away on Friday December 1, 2017 at Ahava Healthcare in Clarksville following a 2 year illness. She was born on March 8, 1969 in Ft. Campbell, KY the daughter of the late William B. Helton and Kathleen Upton Ellis of Clarksville. Teresa was a hard worker during her life and had been a CNA at facilities in Columbia and Clarksville as well as being in the roofing business for a period of time. She was known as a person with a big heart and always willing to help others. She is also survived by her step father, Terry W. Ellis Sr. of Clarksville; a son Timothy Duane Beard of Clarksville; three brothers William Helton (Tina) of Clarksville; Terry W. Ellis Jr. (Tammy) of Chattanooga; and Garrett Ellis of Clarksville; two sisters Sharon Phillips (Todd) of Greenbrier, TN; and Angela Denise Gamble (David) of Ft Oglethorpe, GA. In keeping with Teresa's wishes, there will be no public funeral services.
