Stanley Luther McCormick

Stanley Luther McCormick, age 63, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 3, 2021 in his home in Clarksville, TN. 

Stan was born on April 24, 1958 in Chattanooga, TN.  He was one of three children to the late Bill and Wanda McCormick.  

He was proud to be a United Methodist pastor for years and truly loved everyone he met.  He never met a stranger and loved his family and friends fiercely.  

He was preceded in death by his loving parents.  His living family include his loving and devoted wife Nancy McCormick who cared for him greatly especially as he suffered with Parkinson’s Disease, his twin sons Jake (Darcey) McCormick and Jeff (Sarah) McCormick and their mother Debbie McCormick, David (Niki) Goosey, and Nicole (Todd) Lafnear. He is also survived by his brother Russell McCormick (Don, deceased) and Sallie Allen (Jimmy) and her two children Jamie Allen and Kayla (Ryan) Schroering.  He was also a proud loving grandfather of 7 grandchildren, Bryce, Delaney, Axel, Kashton, Marshall,  Cooper, and Noah. 

A memorial service will be held Friday, November 26, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at Madison Street UMC in Clarksville, TN.
