Sheldon Tyler Arnold

Sheldon Tyler "Ty" Arnold age 61 of Clarksville passed away at his residence on Monday July 17, 2017. He was born in New Castle, IN on October 17, 1955, the son of the late Clinton William Arnold and Albie Rose Mullens Arnold. He had been employed as an insurance agent for USAA for 13 years, retiring in 2015. Survivors include his wife Shilah Lei Arnold of Clarksville; a step son Senior Master Sergeant Spencer Ryan Arnold of McDill AFB in Florida; brothers Lloyd W. Arnold and Monty W. Arnold; sisters Hazel Nunley, Lucille Arnold, Rosie Cox, and Sheila Caudill. Sheldon enjoyed photography and hiking, especially at our National Parks. He and his wife had visited 33 National Parks, falling short of the goal of seeing all of them. There will be no public funeral services.
