Ruth A. Gant

Ruth A. Gant age 59 of Clarksville, passed away on Saturday July 21, 2018 while surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 5, 1959 in Indian Mound, TN. Ruth was devoted to her family and was known to be kindhearted. She had waged a courageous battle for her health for many years. She enjoyed family activities, shopping and going to flea markets. She is survived by her Mother, Lillian Gibbs McCord of Clarksville, her husband Charles D.E. Wallace Sr. of Clarksville; a daughter Tabatha Gaither (Jason) of Palmyra and a son "Bubba" Gant (fiance Kristin) of Clarksville. Other survivors include brothers Steve McCord of Clarksville; Kenneth McCord (April) of Clarksville; and Danny McCord (Kathy) of Clarksville; and sisters Hazel Evans of Clarksville; Emmie Oliver (Bob) of Clarksville; Cathy Abad of Hawaii; Cheryl McCord (John) of Clarksville; and Susan Ashley of Florida. Ruth is also survived by three grandchildren, Dylan Harvey of Clarksville; Destiny Gaither of Palmyra; and Cole Gaither of Palmyra. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday July 25, 2018 at 4:00 P.M. at Gateway Funeral Home. Visitation will be for two hours prior to services at the funeral home.
