Roberto Otero

Roberto Otero age 83 of Clarksville passed away on Tuesday August 15, 2017 at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville. He was born April 9, 1934 in Puerto Rico, one of 14 children of the late Justino Otero and Anarivera Santiago Otero. He had worked in construction in New Jersey prior to coming to Clarksville. He is survived by daughters Omayra Otero of Clarksville and Johanna Thomas of Florida. He is also survived by grandchildren Cecil Thomas III; Anthony Thomas; and Jessica Lynn Thomas and one great grandchild Joseph Upshaw Jr. He is also preceded in death by his wife Candida L. Otero who passed away in January 2017. There will be no public funeral services.
