Robert Donald Morgan

Robert Donald Morgan, age 83 passed away on Wednesday, June 29th at his residence in Clarksville, TN. He was born on July 5th, 1932 to the late Eugene and Virginia Lannom Morgan in Guthrie, KY. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and Jack Morgan. He was employed as a supervisor by Koppers Company and a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Palmyra. He raised and showed Bantam chickens, was an avid painter, gardener and fisherman, and enjoyed square dancing.

He is survived by his wife, Gracie DeLoach Morgan of Clarksville; sons Russell Morgan (Judy) of Clarksville, Ronald Morgan (Mandy) of Kingston Springs, Tony Bess (Bendee) of Dickson; daughters Donna Nabb of Guthrie, KY, Debra Bracy (Terry) of Joelton, TN, Angela LeQuire (Paul) of Franklin, TN, Brandi Binkley of Nashville; sister Lana Morgan of Clarksville; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 2nd at 10:00 a.m. at the Bethel Baptist Church in Palmyra with Dr. Ted Denny officiating. Interment will follow at Edgewood Cemetery in Trenton, KY. Pallbearers will be sons and grandsons. Visitation with the family will begin on Friday, July 1st from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the church and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bethel Baptist Church Youth Fund or Aseracare Hospice.
