Robert E. Harris

Robert E. Harris age 71 of Clarksville, passed away on Monday October 29, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville. He was born July 8, 1947 in Clarksville, TN the son of the late C.V. and Idalia Harris. Robert worked for many years as a heavy equipment and diesel mechanic. He enjoyed working on and restoring classic cars. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Brenda S. Rives Harris of Clarksville; Sons Wayne Potter and Scott Potter; a brother Don Harris and a sister Regina Fowler. He is also survived by grandchildren Daytin, Adam, Cane, Cole, and Nikki and great grandchildren Zane, Kira, Eyan, Lexie, Lucas, Bentley, Austin, and Dominique. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son Scottie Harris; brothers Jerry Harris, Bob Harris, Ray Harris, and Clay Harris. In keeping with Robert's wishes, there will be no public funeral services held. Arrangements are under the care of Gateway Funeral Home and Cremation Center 335 Franklin Street Clarksville, TN 37040.
