Rex Foster Needham

Rex Foster Needham age 79 of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday July 24, 2018 at his residence in Oak Grove, KY. He was born October 20, 1938 in Pilot Mountain, NC, the son of the late Fraudie Needham and Beuna Cox Needham. Rex had worked in manufacturing in the textile industry. He was devoted to his family and loved animals of all types. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Delores Kinyoun Needham of Oak Grove. Also surviving is a son Kevin Needham (Jennifer) of Clarksville; daughters Sherry Atwood of Oak Grove; Penny Needham of Winston Salem, NC; and Tammy Needham of Oak Grove. He is also survived by a sister Ethelyne Cavender of North Carolina and 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by brothers Ralph Needham and Ray Needham and a sister Louise Westmoreland,a granddaughter Christy Manning, a grandson Kenneth Needham as well as a great grandson Ronnie Childress III.
