Randy Ray Downey

Randy Ray Downey, age 60, of Dover, TN, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. He was born September 23, 1963, in Clarksville, TN to Thomas and Judy Downey. 

Randy was raised in Southside TN. A 1982 graduate of Montgomery Central High School. His favorite pass times were fishing, playing cornhole, and golfing. Randy loved his family and most of all loved being "Papple" to Addi and Brantley.

Randy's legacy will continue to live on and he will be dearly missed.

Preceding him in death are his son Jeremy Downey, grandparents; Sterling and Mable Groves, William and Margaret Downey; cousin Mike Sigears, and nephew Jonathon Nunn. 

Left to cherish his memory include his loving wife; Beverly Downey (of 42 years), daughter; Haley (Chris) Huff, grandchildren; Addilyn Huff, and Brantley Huff, his parents; Thomas and Judy Downey, brother; Jeff Downey and a multitude of family and friends. 

A special thank you to Caris hospice and Vanderbilt Cancer Center for the care, love and support you have shown our family.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
