On January 12, 1960, Pepi Elmore was born to Dorothy Green and Thornald Elmore in Chicago, IL. Pepi attended South Shore High School and continued on to obtain her license in Cosmetology. Pepi later gave birth to her own children to start a life of her own. Pepi loved the Lord. She was very outgoing, high-spirited, and determined. Pepi later moved to Clarksville, TN where she continued her life. Pepi loved to travel, cook, teach, laugh, joke and have fun. Pepi enjoyed watching tv and some of her favorite shows were Forensic Files, Discovery ID, Perry Mason, and many others. Also, she enjoyed going to the movies and spending as much time as she could with her family.
Pepi is preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Sims; sisters, Valarie Sims and Renee Green; her brother, Anthony (Tony) Sims. Pepi leaves to cherish her memory to her daughter, NeCarla Gayle (Robert Hannigan); her son, Norman Mallory (Hazell); five sisters, Debra Sutton, Aarolyn Mallory, Devonna Elmore-Wilder (Chris), Zena, and Katrina Elmore; her father, Thornald Elmore (Florice) five grandchildren, Jerome Edwards, Jr., Jontae and Akiya Brown, Ni'yonna and Ni'yela Mallory; two great-granddaughters, Serenity and Natalie Edwards; nieces, Raymona, Tiffany, and Paris Green, and Jerrica Spencer; nephews, David Campbell, Raymond Smith, Jr., Corbin Mallory-Martin, Steven and Matthew Elmore, and Kendall Elmore-Corbett; nieces, Niquela and Amber Elmore-Corbett, and a host of other family and friends.
A funeral service for Pepi will be conducted on Friday, July 3, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Gateway Funeral Home with Pastor William Luffman officiating. A visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
