Paul Edward Copeland, Sr.

Paul Edward Copeland Sr. age 86 of Clarksville, passed away at his home on Sunday November 29, 2015. He was born June 22, 1929 in Laurel, Mississippi. He is the son of the late William Washington Copeland and Maude Nobles Copeland.

Paul served his country in the U.S. Army for over 20 years. Among his duties, he served in France and Japan. He retired as a Staff Sergeant. Following his retirement, he worked in civil service on Ft. Campbell for many years. Paul is survived by two daughters, Renee Cormier of Clarksville; and Deborah Kay Yacorzynski of San Pablo, CA; two sons, William Copeland of Clarksville and Paul Copeland Jr. of Cedar Creek, TX; as well as seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister ImaNell Copeland.

The family will conduct memorial services with military honors at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Gateway Hospice.
