Patricia Anne Givens-Carl

Patricia Anne "Pat" Givens-Carl age 70 of Clarksville, passed away Friday April 15, 2016 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. She was born June 2, 1945 in Clarksville, the daughter of the late Elbert H. Carney and Kathleen W. Wooten Carney. Pat worked in the medical and dental field for many years until retirement. She is a member of the Living Hope Baptist Church and enjoyed taking care of her lawn, being outside and taking care of her cats. She is survived by her son Bobby Givens Jr. & fianc Janet Watkins of Clarksville; daughters Gina Givens & fianc Randy Meyer of Clarksville; and Shannon Givens of Lowell, IN; grandchildren Daniel Shane; Jaclyn Michelle; Patrick Seth; Brittany Nicole Vorreyer; Michael Lance Cales; and Carly Alexandra Cales; as well as great grandchildren Alyssa; Jace; Mason; Brayden; Brody; and Ava. She is also survived by her former husband Bobby Givens Sr. and an uncle Slim Wooten. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Robert Carl. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday April 19, 2016 at 12 noon at the Chapel of Gateway Funeral Home. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Monday from 4-8 P.M. at the funeral home and for one hour prior to services on Tuesday.
