Nora Ann Meriweather

Nora Ann Meriweather, age 56, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. She was born on May 1, 1964 in Clarksville, TN to Sora Lee Gaines and the late Maggie Lee Head. Nora was a loving mother and sister. She loved talking on the phone and cooking.

Left to cherish her memory is her father, Sora Lee Gaines (Laura); her children, Chris Gaines (Rebecca Teasley) and Maurice Gaines (Ruth); her siblings, Lisa Gaines (Brian), Margie Gaines (Charles), and Anthony Head, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. In addition to her mother, Nora is preceded in death by her loving husband, Dwight Meriweather.

in lieu of flowers, please make donations for the service directly to Gateway Funeral Home. A funeral service for Nora will be held on Friday, August 21, 2020 at Gateway Funeral Home at 1:00 P.M. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will follow after the service at Evergreen Cemetery in Clarksville, TN.
