Nancy C. Rhodes

Nancy C. Rhodes age 74 of Clarksville, formerly of Fulton, KY, passed away on Wednesday February 21, 2018 at Spring Meadows Healthcare Center after battling Alzheimer's Disease since 2012. Nancy was born December 12, 1943 in Fulton, KY the daughter of the late Clyde O'Mar and Anna Pearl Brantley O'Mar. She was an LPN and worked at various places while traveling with her husband in his military career. She had worked at Fulton Hospital, the Heidelberg Germany Army Hospital and retired from Deberry Special Needs Facility in Nashville. She is a member of Northeast Baptist Church and was known to be very thoughtful of others, sending greeting cards and crocheting many baby blankets. She is survived by her husband Jerald B. Rhodes of Clarksville; sons Jerald B. Rhodes II (Jennifer) of Clarksville; and Justin B. Rhodes of Clarksville; a daughter Kimberly C. Hailey Wade (Bobby) of Staunton, VA. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren Cherish Yates and Jacob Wade of Staunton, VA; Joseph Hailey of Martin, TN; Joshua Hailey, Jayci Rhodes, and Jayda Rhodes all of Clarksville. In addition she is survived by a daughter in law, Arlene Hailey of Clarksville. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a son Charles Scott Hailey and her brothers and sister. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday February 23, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. at Gateway Funeral Home with Brother David Austin officiating. Burial will follow at the Kentucky Veteran's Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5-8 P.M. and again on Friday for one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
