Mildred Jean Williams

Mildred Jean Williams, age 86, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at the Walking Horse Meadows in Clarksville, TN. Mildred was born on March 30, 1934 in Indian Mound, TN to the late Charles and Ludie Mann. She will be remembered by her family as a loving and comical wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Mildred attended the Forrest Street Methodist Church for many years. She also owned and operated the Bargain Store on Franklin Street with her husband, Joe.

The family of Mildred would like to say a special thank you for the staff at the Walking Horse Meadows and the Aseracare Team. You all were a light during a difficult time.

Left to cherish Mildred’s memory is her husband of 50 years, Joe Williams of Clarksville, TN; sons, Mike Williams ( Ginger) of Adams, TN and Tim Williams of Clarksville, TN; daughter, Kristi Williams of Clarksville, TN; brothers, David Mann of Hopkinsville, KY, Leon Mann of Clarksville, TN, Reed Mann of Joelton, TN and Wilton Mann of Clarksville, TN; sisters, Barbara Trammel of McMinnville, TN, Gertrude Hall of Cunningham, TN and Lucille Todd of Clarksville, TN. Mildred is also survived by her grandchildren, Kelsey Norman, Alex Norman, Eric Williams, Stacy Boisseau, Jessica Williams and Daniel Williams; great grandchildren, Rhea Boisseau, Reese Boisseau, Ryan Boisseau and Annie Williams.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by daughter, Jo Lynn Williams and brother, William Mann.

Funeral services for Mildred Williams will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. There will be a visitation at 11:00 A.M. till the hour of service. Officiating will be Dr. Al Hodges.
