Mercedes Adele Kelcourse

Merced "Mercedes" Adele Kelcourse, age 95, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Spring Meadows Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 11, 1928 in Frazee, MN to the late Roy Harvey and Alma Bishop. 

Mercedes was free spirited, enjoyed playing her piano, and loved her many feline friends throughout life. Mercedes spent many happy hours viewing wildlife from the window of her room; deer, turkeys, squirrels, and birds.

Survivors include her children: Michael Beason of Hugo, MN; Carole Leatherwood of Egg Harbor Township, NJ; Mary Anne Walters of Everett, WA; Christopher Theisen of Crystal, MN; Camille Rae of Clarksville, TN; 9 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mercedes is preceded in death by her daughter, Chery'll Hollie; and brother, Roy Harvey. 

Mercedes often spoke of her desire to return to San Diego, CA. Mercedes wishes will be honored by family; her cremains will be interred amidst the glorious sunsets of southern California.
