Mark Allen Lenz, age 61 of Adams, TN passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, TN. Mark was born in Fremont, OH on February 17, 1960 to the late Richard and Joyce Lenz. Mark was the President of the Tennessee College of Applied Technology-Nashville for 11 years. Mark proudly served his country for 6 years in the US Navy. Mark enjoyed a 26 year career at Robert BOSCH North America, progressing from machine operator to accomplished training manager and international trainer. Mark was proud to be an Eagle Scout. He was a member of the Middle Tennessee Counsel, Boy Scouts of America Executive Board. He enjoyed barber shop singing, wood working and bee keeping. Mark was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church and active choir member. Mark left a legacy of love and demonstrated his Christian faith in all aspects of his life.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 25 years, Jolette Lenz of Adams, TN; sons, Matthew Lenz of Clarksville, TN and David Lenz (Sabrina) of Murfreesboro, TN; daughters, Ashley Ayers (Justin) of Adams, TN and Brittiny Bowers (Tyson) of Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Heather Lenz, Ellis Ayers and Eden Ayers. Extended family in Fremont, OH including sisters, Mindy Veler and Marie Breighner
A visitation will be held at 2:00 P.M. until the time of the memorial service at 3:30 P.M. held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Grace Lutheran Church in Clarksville, TN.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Mark Lenz Single Parent Scholarship Fund, to assist active students at TCATN.
