Maria E Santana

Maria E. Santana, age 84, of Hopkinsville, KY passed away on Thursday August 29, 2019 at Bradford Heights Health & Rehab. She was born June 30, 1935 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to the late Seiapio and Alicia Martinez. During her early years, Maria was employed as a factory worker. Apart from work, Maria enjoyed flower gardening and loving on animals. Also, she loved children dearly. She attended Oak Grove Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her son; William S. Soto (Nam) of Pembroke, KY; nine grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Maria is preceded in death by two husbands, Pablo Santana and Gerardo Soto; three sons, Nelson S. Soto, Jose A. Soto, and Reyes Soto; and all of her siblings.

Funeral services for Maria will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, September 6, 2019 at Gateway Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Wayne Long officiating. A visitation will take place on Friday at 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Maria's final resting place will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
