Mable Carolyn Threatt

Mable Carolyn Threatt, age 77, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024. She was born October 27, 1946, in Memphis, TN to the late Wisdom Threatt and Blanche Threatt. 

Mable's academic journey was as remarkable as her gentle spirit. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Lane College, a stepping stone that paved the way for her Master's degree at the University of Tennessee at Martin. Her dedication to education and lifelong learning was evident in her passion for sharing knowledge and supporting those around her.

Throughout her life, Mable embodied warmth and generosity. She was a beacon of kindness and an intelligent woman. Mable left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know her. She will be dearly missed. 

Left to cherish her memories include her brother, Otis (Zata) Threatt Sr.; nephew, Otis Threatt Jr., and niece, Shatikia Threatt.

A funeral service will be held at Gateway Funeral Home on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 12:00 P.M. with visitation at 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will follow the service at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Clarksville, TN.
