Lucinda Mathes

Lucinda "Cindy" Mathes age 64, passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, October 31, 2020. Cindy was born on July 26, 1956 in Hartsville, TN to the late Radford and Kathleen Spivey. Cindy will be remembered as a precious wife, mother, and grandmother. She was wonderful at all that she did. She was the manager of a large florist and nursery for many years. Cindy loved flowers and enjoyed making floral arrangements for all occasions.

Left to cherish Cindy's memory is her husband of 36 years, Rickey Mathes of Erin, TN; daughter, Samantha Kizer of Houston Co, TN; brothers, Randy Spivey, Radford Spivey, and Danny Spivey; sister, Maria Spivey. She is also survived by 5 grand children, Robert Jr., Lemarcus, Maiylah, R'Shonte, and Kya.

Cindy is preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service for Mrs. Mathes will be held at a later date at the Tennessee Ridge Baptist Church, located at 1530 N Main St, Tennessee Ridge, TN 37178. When the date is selected by the family, the obituary will be updated.
