Lloyd Charles Russell

Lloyd Charles Russell age 74 of Clarksville, passed away on Tuesday March 24, 2020 at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville. He was born February 11, 1946 in Brighton, England and is the son of the late Albert James Russell and Kathleen Rose Wise Dotson. Lloyd worked for many years in furniture sales at various stores, retiring from Haverty's in Gallatin. He attended the First Christian Church in Princeton, KY. He enjoyed retirement and was an avid bridge player and enjoyed growing Irises in his flower garden. He was a fan of the Nashville Predators and Kentucky Basketball. He is survived by his wife Linda Bowling Russell of Clarksville; daughters Amanda Starr (William) of Athens, AL; and Courtney Carson of Clarksville. Also surviving are sisters Thea Mileo and Donna Moore-Campbell. Lloyd was also blessed with seven grandchildren, Christian Dorthalina, Brandon Dorthalina, Ian Carson, Tristan Rittenhouse, Charlie Starr, Halie Starr, and William Starr III, as well as two great grandchildren Layton Ledbetter and Bella Ledbetter. Due to the current health situation, memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Montgomery County Animal Shelter.
