Lilburn Lee Evitts

Lilburn Lee Evitts, age 78 of Clarksville, TN passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020. He was born on January 4, 1942 to the late Virgel and Roxie Evitts in Russellville, KY. Lilburn was a walker who was known by his nickname "Golf Ball" because he always collected them. He was also known for his "taters & Coke". Lilburn was well liked and loved his family deeply.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons; James Evitts (Glenda) of Clarksville, TN, Jimmy Evitts (Nicole) of Clarksville, TN, Johnny Evitts (Tiffany) of Clarksville, TN, Jackie Evitts (Amanda) of Clarksville, TN, Jason Evitts (Courtney) of Clarksville, and Zachary Evitts of Franklin, KY, daughters; Barbara Short (Ricky) of Elkton, KY and Nikki Evitts (Chris) of Franklin, KY, brother; Ray Evitts of Russellville, KY, sister; Lois Evitts. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by spouse, Callie Jane Evitts, brother, Kenneth Evitts and sister, Joyce Lyons.

Family will have a private viewing Wednesday, July 15, 2020. Services for Lilburn will be Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 2:00 P.M at Gateway Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M. till the hour of service. Officiating will be Pastor Tim Hughes.
