Latonia Savon McGougan

Latonia Savon McGougan, age 62, of Clarksville, passed away at her residence on Wednesday July 8, 2020. She was born February 10, 1958 in Clarksville, the daughter of Charles Edward Nicholson and Elizabeth Wallace Nicholson of Clarksville. Latonia is a 1976 graduate of Clarksville High School. She has worked over the years as a caregiver and CNA at Clarksville Manor as well as in home health care. She devoted her life to caring for others and was devoted to her children and grandchildren and all of her family. In addition to her Mother, she is survived by her husband Antonio McGougan of Clarksville, two daughters Alicia McGougan (James Benton) of Clarksville; and Adrienna McGougan (Tony Lee Jr.) of Clarksville; two sons Antonio McGougan of Clarksville; and Aaron McGougan of Clarksville. Also surviving is a brother Arthur Nicholson of Clarksville; three sisters Glenda Bowers of Antioch, TN; Rhonda Thomas of Clarksville, and Kym Russell of Diego, CA. She is also blessed with five grandchildren, Samiyah, Aniyah- Semaj- London- and Christian. In addition to her Father, she is preceded in death by her Father and Mother in Law, Odell & Augusta McGougan. Memorial services for Latonia will be conducted on Saturday July 18, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Gateway Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12 noon until the time of services at the funeral home.
