Larry Eugene Greer

Larry Eugene Greer, 78, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023 at his home. He was born December 6, 1944 in Holcomb, MO to the late Harold Eugene Greer and Mary Evelyn Griggs Greer. He was known as their "favorite child" as there were no others. He was a big supporter of Little Debbie and Jimmy Dean. We hope their businesses can continue without him. He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was retired from Save-A-Lot in Huntingdon, TN as a Store Manager.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jeronda Townsend Greer who he wed on December 14, 1974; one favorite child, Chelynn Bell and favorite son-in-law, Rick Bell of Clarksville, TN; Jeff Jiles of Farmington, MO and Miles Northington of Macon, MO are sons that shared the leftover attention; aunt Pauline Jones of Dexter, MO; and many other cousins that were very special to him; grandchildren, Erin Bell, Emily (Shane) Gallo, and Olivia Bell, all of Clarksville, TN; and greatest of all, Annabelle Nall and Andrew Nall who were "just as good looking", as Grandpa Larry would say, and one special lap dog, Macgyver.

Thank you, Tennova Healthcare Nurses for your help. Dr. Korban provided 16 years of cardiac procedures and we are forever grateful to his attention to detail. The family would also like to express deep gratitude to Dr. Joel Parker, EMS first responders, and Lieutenant Cottrell for their kindness. In remembrance of our dear Larry, do something he would have done: laugh, tell a pun, and take care of your loved ones.
