Kennith D. "Kenn" Johnson

Kennith "Kenn" D. Johnson, age 57 passed away on Wednesday, January 11th, 2017 at his residence in Clarksville, TN. He was born on July 23rd, 1959 to the late Kennith "Don" and Charlotte Robertson Johnson.

Kenn graduated from Northwest High School in 1977 and attended Freed Hardeman College. He was employed by Purity Dairy as a dock supervisor, until he health no longer permitted him to work. Previously he was employed in Gas Construction with Clarksville Gas and Water. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed baseball and softball. He was also a member of First Baptist Church of Woodlawn.

He is survived by four sons, Adam Blake Johnson (Denielle Sage) and Wesley Michael Johnson of Clarksville, Brandon Parker (Kristal) of Joelton, TN, Brent Parker of Pleasant View, TN; brother Timm Johnson (Dana) of Clarksville; sister Kim Johnson-Knapp (Kevin) of Pleasant View, TN; two grandchildren, Colby Gage Johnson and Aspen Parker; three nephews, Thomas Johnson (Chevelle) and Ben Johnson and Tyler Smith; and niece Allison Johnson and great niece Sadie Johnson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 21st at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Gateway Funeral Home with Brother Jonathan Denton officiating. Visitation with the family will begin from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
