Kenneth R. Haywood

Kenneth R. Haywood age 80 of Clarksville, passed away on Friday May 25, 2018 at Spring Meadows Healthcare in Clarksville. He was born June 27, 1937 in Dunlevy, PA, the son of the late Ray John Haywood and Ella Checchi Haywood. Kenneth was employed for 56 years with the Army Corps of Engineers. He had received numerous Certificates of Merit while employed. He is a member of the St. Bethlehem United Methodist Church. Kenneth was an avid fisherman and a devoted family man. He is survived by his wife Doris Willson Haywood of Clarksville, a son Todd Haywood of Clarksville, and a daughter Melisa Blanchard of Palm Harbor, FL. He is also survived by sisters Jean Sims of Smyrna, TN and Lois Landry of Smyrna, TN. Kenneth is also survived by grandchildren Aaron, Kelsey, Jonathan, Elizabeth, and Madison and great grandchildren Sophie, and Julissa. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no public funeral services. His remains will be placed at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
