Kay Evelyn Helms

Kay Evelyn Helms age 67 of Largo, Florida passed away at her residence on Thursday March 5, 2020. She was born August 8, 1952 in Clarksville, the daughter of the late Charles Robert Coppedge and Evelyn Lucille Gallaher Coppedge. Kay is a 1970 graduate of Clarksville High School. She was baptized at the Olivet Freewill Baptist Church. She was known as a generous person who loved her family and enjoyed laughter and making others laugh. She is survived by her son William Troy Aiello (Erin) of Georgetown, TX; her daughter Megan Renae Helms of Largo, FL; her sister Joan Eads (Don) of Clarksville; and her brother Clifford Coppedge (Jackie) of Clarksville. In addition to her parents, Kay is preceded in death by her husband Mark Helms who passed away on June 1, 2019. Visitation for Kay will be at Gateway Funeral Home on Thursday March 12, 2020 from 11 A.M. until 1:00 PM when we will depart Gateway Funeral Home for Resthaven Memorial Gardens where graveside funeral services will be conducted shortly after 1:00 PM at the cemetery.
