Judith Louise "Judy" Landry

Judith Louise "Judy" Landry age 77 of Clarksville passed away on Wednesday September 13, 2017 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. She was born in Nashville on February 29, 1940, the daughter of the late Noyes Waldo Gill and Marguerite Anastacia Nicolas. She had lived most of her life in New Orleans and Prairieville, LA before coming to Clarksville in recent years. She is a graduate of Ursuline Academy in New Orleans. She was a radiology Technician with Baptist Hospital in New Orleans for 40 years before retirement. She had been a part of the Red Hat Ladies, sewing and quilting clubs and Bible study groups. She is a devout Catholic with membership at St. John the Evangelist Church in Prairieville, LA and the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Clarksville. She was devoted to her family and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Judy is survived by three daughters, Laura Ann Groetsch Gomez of Clarksville; Katherine Groetsch Baudoin (Jody) of Tampa, FL; and Susan Groetsch Robinson of San Pedro, CA. She is also survived by a brother John "Jack" Gill of New Orleans; a sister Joann "Jody" Gill LaBorde (James) of Dublin, Ohio; she is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Friends are invited to a memorial visitation on Saturday September 16, 2017 at the Chapel of Gateway Funeral Home from 3:30 until 5:00 PM. Burial of Judy's cremated remains will be held in the Garden of Memories in Metarie, LA.
