Juanita Lois Parker

Juanita Lois Parker, age 74, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Sunday January 23, 2022, at her residence.  She was born April 23, 1947 in Indian Mound, TN, the daughter of the late Bruce Wolfe and Lois Elliott Milliken.  Juanita worked for 17 years with State Industries in Ashland City, TN.  She was formerly a part of Emmanuel Freewill Baptist Church.  She was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren.  She had a “green thumb”and enjoyed growing plants.  She loved her dog Patches and had raised two parrots from hatchlings that she kept for many years.  Left to cherish her memory is her husband Jerry Lee Parker of Clarksville; her daughters Christine Benthal (Jeff) of Clarksville; and Dauphne McGavic (Darrell) of Springfield, TN; her sons Scott Coggins (Jacqueline) of Clarksville; and Jamie Coggins (Robert Cook) of Clarksville.  Also surviving are two sisters Alice Brumitt of Granite City, IL and Linda Cave of Granite City, IL.  She was blessed with nine grandchildren, Michael Cross, Dustin Baggett, Lacy Baggett, Brandon Coggins, Christopher Coggins, Brittany McGavic Clanton, Dylan McGavic, Kassidy Benthal, and Kyle Benthal as well as four great grandchildren Tristen, River Lynn, Owen, and Emmitt.  Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday January 27, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Gateway Funeral Home.
