Juan Ramirez

Juan Bautista Ramirez, age 72 of Southside, TN passed away at his residence on Saturday May 7, 2016. He was born on July 13, 1943 in Morovis, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Juan Bautista Ramirez Sr. and Marcola Class Otero Ramirez.

Juan had been employed in construction for many years as well as in maintenance at a foster care facility. In Clarksville, he had worked in maintenance at the Holiday Inn.

He is survived by his wife of over 50 years Brunilda Ramirez; three sons, Juan Ramirez & wife Tammy of White Bluff; Reyes Ramirez & wife Amy of Oak Grove; and Victor Ramirez & Evelyn of Clarksville; two daughters Elizabeth Sevilla & husband Julio of Southside; and Linda Ramirez Toth and husband Dennis of Clarksville. He is also survived by brothers Rafael Ramirez of Patterson, NJ; and Benito Ramirez of Clearwater, FL; and a sister Flor Maria Gonzolez of Buffalo, NY and 23 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son Marcus Ramirez, a brother Elcente Ramirez and sisters Pastora and Eliza.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday May 11, 2016 at 100 P.M. at the chapel of Gateway Funeral Home with Pastor Enrique Nataren officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11 A.M. until the time of services at the funeral home.
