Joyce Baggett Oldham

Joyce Baggett Oldham departed this life on August 23, 2024, at the age of 87. She was born December 2, 1936, in Cumberland City, TN to Adam W. Baggett and Leona E. Hodges Baggett.

Joyce married her lifetime love, Billy Joe Oldham, on August 15, 1954. During their marriage, they were able to travel a good portion of this globe and share many experiences. Many wonderful friends were made along the way. Joyce loved her family fiercely and also her God. 

Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband Billy, her step father Burin Parchman, brothers Berry S Baggett and Tony E Baggett, sister Jane Baggett Kondwros

Left to cherish her memory include daughter Melissa (Russell) Parker, grandchildren Tammy (Aaron) Cordle ,Kimberly (Phillip) Hinton, and Michael Parker, great-grandchildren; Christopher LeGrant, Matthew LeGrant and Daniel Cordle, brother; Hugh (Courtney) Baggett, and sisters-in-law Linda Baggett and Corinne Baggett. Joyce also leaves behind a large group of nieces, nephews and dear friends that made her life an absolute joy.

There are no public services scheduled at this time. She will be laid to rest beside her dear husband at a later date.
