Joncie P. Powell age 69 of Clarksville, TN, passed away at Walking Horse Meadows in Clarksville on Friday March 26, 2021.  Joncie was born in Washington, North Carolina on December 29, 1951 and is the daughter of John and Agatha  Wilson of Clarksville.  Joncie is a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church and in her free time she enjoyed needle crochet and doing volunteer work through the church.  She has worked over the years as a Department of Defense commissary manager at various military installations.  Left to cherish her memory are her parents; her sons Michael Wilson of Philadelphia; William Powell of Woodbridge, VA; and Ryan Powell of Charlotte, NC.  Also surviving are step daughters Kallisa Powell, Jackie Quarles-Minor, and Angela Allen. She is preceded in death by her sister Ann Wilson. She is survived by her sister Cecile Wilson-Rodriguez and her brothers David Wilson and John Wilson Jr.   She is blessed with fourteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.   Memorial services for Joncie are scheduled for Friday April 2, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Gateway Funeral Home with Bishop Dr. Alvin Miller officiating.  Visitation will be for the hour prior to services from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.
