John Thomas Wall

John Thomas Wall age 80 of Indian Mound, TN, passed away at his residence on Wednesday May 24, 2017. He was born December 16, 1936 in Lake Wales, FL, the son of the late George Edward Wall and Effie Lee Johnson Wall Hare. John served his country in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force for a total of 21 years, retiring from the Army as a CW 2. Following his military service he worked the remainder of his life at Acme Boot, Smithfield Tool and Die, Civil Service, and Bi-County Waste Management, retiring just within the past 6 months. John is a member of the New Providence United Methodist Church and the American Legion and he was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his wife Marjie Howe Wall; three daughters Cindy Case of Clarksville; Sandra Washburn (John) of Clarksville; and Cheryl Beckley (fianc James Lesterski) of Indian Mound. John is also survived by two brothers Willard Horace Hare Jr. (Diane) of Tampa, FL; and Ronald Hare (Barbara) of Tampa, FL. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren with one on the way. Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday May 27, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the New Providence United Methodist Church. Visitation will be on Saturday for one hour prior to services at the church.
