John Henry Kidd Jr

John Henry Kidd Jr, age 69, of Clarksville, TN, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare. John was born in Clarksdale, MS on January 31, 1952 to the late Mary Moore and John Henry Kidd Sr; raised by his granny, Ora Lee Jackson. John was a traveling man, a gift of gab. He never met a stranger. He cared deeply for his children and grandchildren. John was an excellent dominoes player. He also loved to sing love songs by The Commodores. He attended a culinary program in Chicago, where it taught him the essentials on cooking. He enjoyed cooking and cooked at a lot of locations.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Jovares Kidd (Monica) of Clarksville, TN; Joyika Kidd Mullen (Robert) of Arlington, TX; brother, Charles Kidd of Pontiac, IL; sisters, Gladys Moore of The Bronx, NY, Sophie Moore of The Bronx, NY and Diane Moore of The Bronx, NY. He is also survived by grandchildren, Jovares Kidd II, Jacoria Grant, Jailyn Stamps and Jadyn Stamps.

Along with his parents, John is preceded in death by his granny, Ora Lee Jackson and brother, Lester Kidd.

There will be no public services at this time.
