John B. Johnson

John B. Johnson age 73 of Clarksville, passed away on Wednesday October 7, 2020 at his residence. He was born August 2, 1947 in Montgomery County, TN, the son of the late John Johnson and Queenie Copeland. John served his country in the US Army, serving during the Vietnam War. He has worked in the Clarksville area for many years, most recently with Gary Mathews Auto Sales where he worked until his health no longer permitted. He was a loving and caring husband and father. Left to cherish John's memory is his wife Tammy Perry Sheeks; daughters Brandy Johnson of Oregon; Amber Johnson of Oregon; and Tammy Johnson of Clarksville. Also surviving is a step daughter Brittany Layfield of Stewart County, TN; and a step son Scotty Chase Perry of Paris, TN. He is also survived by a brother Jessie Johnson of Clarksville; sisters Nancy Thompson of Clarksville; and Sue Cisco of Clarksville. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister Linda Faye Johnson. Funeral services for John will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday October 12, 2020 at the Kentucky Veteran Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY.
