John Page DeVere

John Page DeVere age 70 of Clarksville, TN, passed away at his residence on Thursday August 22, 2019. He was born September 18, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of the late William Donald DeVere and Mary Ann Baas DeVere. John is a graduate of Upper Arlington High School in Columbus and also is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He lived many years in Sanibel Island and Ft. Myers, Florida before moving to Clarksville in 2010. He worked for many years in the construction field. He was an active member of Gateway Christian Church where he served as a Deacon. He was also active in Kairos Prison Ministry, both in Florida and at Riverbend Maximum Security Institution in Nashville. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Julie Hutton DeVere of Clarksville; daughters Jennifer DeVere Warner (Mike) of San Francisco, CA; and Elizabeth Page DeVere of Seattle, WA. In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by a sister Lee Ann Eckhart. Memorial Services will be conducted on Saturday September 14, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Gateway Christian Church 781 Windermere Drive, Clarksville, TN.
