Joe Nathaniel Jones

Joe N. Jones, age 66, of Clarksville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday June 21, 2018. He was born September 1, 1951 in Clarksville, the son of the late Joe Jones and Frances Shepherd Jones. Joe is a graduate of Clarksville High School. He went on to graduate from Austin Peay State University with a degree in business and finance. He had worked for the State of Tennessee in the Department of Labor as a tax auditor for the past 20 years. Previously he had worked in the business office of Acme Boot and Q Lube. He was known as a kind, loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife C. Diana Riley Jones of Clarksville; two sons Chad Jones of Clarksville; and Josh Jones (Emily) of Clarksville. Also surviving are two sisters, Pam Gray (Billy) of Clarksville and Peggy Kosut (George) of Clarksville as well as 4 grandchildren, Brittyne, Peyton, Jasper, and Lainey and a great granddaughter Christalyn. Joe is also survived by a brother in law Ken Riley (Angela) of Tupelo, MS and a sister in law Deborah Riley (Tony) of Tupelo, MS. He will also be missed by his three schnauzers. In addition to his parents, Joe is preceded in death by a brother Bill Jones and a sister Sheila Reed. A celebration of Joe's life for his immediate family and close friends will be conducted on Wednesday June 27, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at the Chapel of Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 2930 Hwy 41A South, Clarksville.
