Joanne Carol "Granny Jo" Face

Joanne Carol (Granny Jo) Face, age 73 of Clarksville, passed away on Thursday January 5th, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville. She was born May 27, 1943 in Long Branch, NJ; the daughter of the late Alfred Daust and Madeline Naughton Daust.

She was employed for many years as an accountant with the federal government in Ft. Campbell, KY, and following retirement has worked the past several years in the pharmacy at Fred's store at Hilltop. She has lived in Clarksville since 1977 and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She loved taking care of her family and enjoyed being a Granny.

She is survived by two sons, Ronald P. Face III (Felicia), and Brian R. Face (Lisa) both of Clarksville. She is also survived by brothers Tim Daust (Andrea) of Sevierville; Gregory Daust of Pigeon Forge; and Frederick Daust (Monique) of Highlands, NJ; sisters Diana Jost of Marlton, NJ; Patricia Davis (James) of Highlands, NJ; and Lillyane Ronan (Frank) of Middletown, NJ. Joanne is also survived by five grandchildren Megan Face (DJ); Preston Face (Tania); Logan Face; Matthew and Joshua Lee; as well as four great grandchildren, Kyley Sykes; D.J. Dallas; Alexis Dallas; and Olivia Face, as well as several nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her dog, Sassy Girl.

Memorial services will be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Chapel on Friday, January 13th at 2:00 p.m. with Father Steve Wolf officiating. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, January 12th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church.
