Jerrilynn Gomez, a beloved wife, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away surrounded by loved ones on July 7, 2024, from a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Born on June 3, 1982, in Baton Rouge, LA; Jerrilynn leaves behind her devoted husband, Christopher Gomez; her loving mother, Josie Nicole Brian; her cherished father, William Brian; and her dear sister, Brandy Wilkinson. Additionally, Jerrilynn was loved by many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Percy and Dorothy Thomassie, her aunt, Margaret Thomassie, and grandmother, Judith Landry.
Throughout her life, Jerrilynn touched countless hearts with her kindness, compassion, and love. Her strength and determination, even in the face of adversity, served as an inspiration to all who knew her. Jerrilynn's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have shared in her journey, leaving a lasting impression on the lives she has forever changed.
Jerrilynn's legacy will continue to live on, as her loved ones cherish the moments spent with her and the impact she made on their lives. May she rest in peace, and may her loved ones find solace in the beautiful memories they shared with her.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Gateway Funeral Home on Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. There will be no services following the visitation. If you are interested in purchasing flowers, the family has lovingly requested yellow flowers in honor of Jerrilynn.
