Jeannette Renae Garrott Lloyd

Jeannette Renae Garrott Lloyd, the daughter of the late Sufronia Ogburn Garrott and Thomas Garrott, was born March 31, 1954 in Hopkinsville, KY. She departed this life on Saturday, September 7, 2019 in the comfort of her own home.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her lifelong soul mate of 26 years, James Houston Bellamy, her brothers; Billy Harold Garrott and James Garrott, sisters; Ella Garrott, Betty Wraggs, Ann Irby and Judy May Thornton. Jeannette was educated at the Baily Cobb Elementary School and Burt High School. She loved to entertain friends. She professed her faith in Jesus Christ and was baptized at St. John Missionary Baptist Church. She joined Springhill Missionary Baptist Church later on.

She will be greatly missed by her four children, Teresa Denise Nolton, Yolanda Danise Lloyd, Alreva Regina Lloyd and Christina Rochelle Gold, thirteen grandchildren; Marquel Daishawn Bell, Tyreco Jamar Nolton, Yvonna Monique Lloyd, Rayvon Tynik Gold, Mychal Antonio Lloyd, J'wan Octavious Lloyd, Jeania De'chell Lloyd, Dante Ly'mon Lloyd, Fabion De'mon Nykie Lloyd, Crystine Desiree Lloyd, Jodi Deshon Louis Lloyd, Detravius Nalijah Lloyd, Da'laisha Aryonna Lloyd, and a host of other family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday September 13, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Gateway Funeral Home Chapel. Visiting hours will begin on Friday at 12:00 P.M. until the time of service.
