Irene Joann Morris

Irene Joann Morris, age 79, of Clarksville, TN, formerly of California, passed away on Friday February 11, 2022 at Spring Meadows Health Care in Clarksville.  She was born May 12, 1942 in Richmond, California, the daughter of the late Guilio and Blanche Brocchini BanDucci. Irene attended the University of California at San Francisco and graduated from San Jose State University with a master’s degree.  She spent her working life as a school teacher in the San Francisco and Round Mountain, California Schools.  She is a devoted member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.  She is an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles and word searches.  She was an animal advocate.  Survivors include her daughters Victoria Morris of Clarksville, Charlotte Morris of Redding, CA, and Abigail Loso of Red Bluff, CA.  Grandchildren include Taria Herndon, Dominic Gorbet, and Adam Cameron.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Archibald Morris Jr.  There are no public funeral services planned at this time.  Arrangements are under the care of Gateway Funeral Home and Cremation Center  335 Franklin Street  Clarksville, TN  37040.  Phone 931-919-2600.  Online condolences may be made by going to www.gatewayfh.com.
