Ilse Ursula Cable

Ilse Ursula Cable, age 81 of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Tennova. Ilse was born in Frankfurt, Germany on July 12, 1940 to the late Julius and Gretal Diller. Ilse met her husband, John Mitchell Cable while he was serving in the U.S Army in Germany. She enjoyed country music, gardening, cooking German food and her family. Ilse was a generous person. She often did for others.  Ilse was employed in Maintenance on Fort Campbell and for Sam’s Club. Ilse also loved her fur babies, Snowy, Casper, Schatzie, Daisy, Peppes, Baby and Buddy. She will be remembered by her family as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Nancy Rushing (Tom) of Clarksville, TN, Linda Cable of Clarksville, TN and Connie Cable of Clarksville, TN; son, Johnnie Cable (Kathryn) of Clarksville, TN; grandchildren, Christy Cable, Andreas Laufer, Jonathan Cable, Lindsey Cable, Johnnie Cable Jr., and Cynthia Aguero; great grandchildren, Tiara Harris, Alisia Cable, Jaceyann Cable, Johnnalynn Cable, Justin Armstrong and Mitchell Armstrong; sisters, Christa Diller and Marianne Gerdes. Ilse is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Ilse is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, John Mitchell Cable.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public services scheduled at this time.
