Howard Patterson

Howard G. Patterson age 77 of Pleasant View, TN, passed away on Thursday December 8, 2016 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. He was born September 29, 1939 in Humphreys County, TN the son of the late Charlie H. Patterson and Ruby Ann Hicks Patterson. Howard was employed during his life as an electrician and was also a painter and the owner of Sunrise Painting. He is a member of the Highland Chapel Baptist Church in Pleasant View. He enjoyed fishing, bird watching, gardening and watching western shows on TV. Primarily, he was devoted to his family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Lorraine Lund Patterson who passed away in 2015. He is also preceded in death by a sister Linda Vandeveer. He is survived by 2 sons, David Wimmer & Cindy of Hutchinson, MN; and John Patterson & Leslie of Cumberland City, TN; 3 daughters, Lisia Molloy-Esquviel of Sacramento, CA; Terry Patterson of Sacramento, CA; and Ann Kemp of Pleasant View, TN; 3 brothers Charles Patterson, Guyton, GA; Emmett Patterson, Guyton, GA; and Larry Patterson, Erin, TN; 4 sisters JoAnn Patterson, Margie Jacobsen, Vema Patterson, and Connie Miller, all of Tennessee Ridge, TN. Howard is blessed with 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 P.M. Sunday December 11, 2016 at the Highland Chapel Baptist Church with Brother Floyd Reynolds officiating. Friends may visit at the church for the hour prior to services.
